Tired of missing or tangled AV Cables?
CableEZ eliminates access to the cable connection point resulting in the cable that is always connected and working. The user simply unwinds the cable and uses it. Most often users automatically wind it back up when done! It also provides a dramatically cleaner cabling environment by providing a storage place for the cable. It has no visible connection points that protrude out and can get damaged. It is cable type agnostic, any type of cable can be used with the device from HDMI, USB, data, even microphone cables.
Why it Works
The CableEZ ring gets mounted in its desired location. This can be on a wall, over an electrical gang box, on a portable cart, etc. The cable going to the TV, projector or system enters the CableEZ ring one of three ways. Either through a hole in the wall, from the gang box, or the surface mount slot. The cable gets spliced or captured and continues out the bottom cable slot. Once the cable is placed in the exit slot the cover plate attaches to the ring and captures the cable. The plate provides the storage location for the cable.
Specifications
The CableEZ Captive Cable Mount consists of two parts—the back ring and cover plate. The ring currently is available in single and two gang versions. The cover plate is built of aluminum painted either black or white. Other options will be available in the future. Mounting hardware is included for all of the optional mounting methods.
